3. The ability to process the DNA code — Computational biology
He also discusses how KdT looks for platform technologies that are malleable and own the entire value chain in the stack, and how protection of the technology is a key element. Cain talks about how reading patents can inform the startup about new opportunities. He also discusses other important sources for investment opportunities, including Google alerts to track patent filings, and more.
