Steps to Building Your Brand Hello, this is Hall T. Martin with the Startup Funding Espresso — your daily shot of startup funding and investing. In building a brand from scratch follow these steps: Start with purpose. Identify the reason behind the company and why it exists. Research the competition. Find out what other companies are doing to avoid duplicate messaging. Identify the target customer. Get specific about who you want to reach. Choose a brand message. Tie your company’s mission to solving the needs of the target audience. Flesh out the values of the brand. Define the supporting values the company stands for. Find the voice. Show how the brand relates to the audience. Develop the story. Tell the story of the company that supports the brand. Design the logo. Create the visual identity of the brand. Promote the brand. Embed the brand in every communication including email, social media, signage, and letterhead. Follow these steps to create a brand identity for your company.   Thank you for joining us for the Startup Funding Espresso where we help startups and investors connect for funding. Let’s go startup something today. _________________________________________________________ For more episodes from Investor Connect, please visit the site at:   Check out our other podcasts here:   For Investors check out:   For Startups check out:   For eGuides check out:   For upcoming Events, check out    For Feedback please contact info@tencapital.group    Please , share, and leave a review.
