Finding New Startup Ideas Hello, this is Hall T. Martin with the Startup Funding Espresso — your daily shot of startup funding and investing. When finding new startup ideas, start with your own interests in mind. Look for solutions to problems or challenges you face. Here are the steps to finding new startup ideas from your own experiences: Choose a problem that is a major pain point. Skip the casual problems that generate solutions in the nice-to-have category. Research the problem to find out how to solve it. There’s often more than one way, so it’s best to consider all options. Develop a solution that solves the problem well. It should be effective and efficient. Build out a solution and test it to see how well it works. Show it to others for feedback and questions. This often enhances the solution and provides ideas for naming and marketing the product. Next, look for a distribution channel. Test out the channel to see how much others will pay for it. It’s often the case that the solution is not a standalone product but could work as part of another solution. Consider how best to package, price, and distribute it. At this point, one can calculate if there’s a business case or not for taking it to market. Thank you for joining us for the Startup Funding Espresso where we help startups and investors connect for funding. Let’s go startup something today. _______________________________________________________ For more episodes from Investor Connect, please visit the site at: http://investorconnect.org Check out our other podcasts here: https://investorconnect.org/ For Investors check out: https://tencapital.group/investor-landing/ For Startups check out: https://tencapital.group/company-landing/ For eGuides check out: https://tencapital.group/education/ For upcoming Events, check out https://tencapital.group/events/ For Feedback please contact info@tencapital.group Please follow, share, and leave a review.
